Hey yall im new to this site and have a question. I year and a half after my injury from a concrete truck rolling over my leg almost losing it. The opposing attys want to mediate my case. Is this a good indication that they are interested in settling. About 2 months ago my lawyers sent a letter of demand in the amount of 2 million dollars. Is this their response that they wont pay that much but willing to work out another sum? What can I expect? :D

First of all, you should be asking this and any other questions of your attorneys.
That is why you hired them.
Please reach out to them and communicate with them.

Now, a mediation is an attempt to settle your case.
Who knows what they will say or offer.
But, whatever they offer, it is up to YOU to decide.
It is YOUR case.
So, be patient and attend the mediation.
Look, listen, learn, and think.
They may make you a better offer than you suppose.
Good luck.
