my mother last year was in a serious one car accident! I was called by a friend who told me she was in a wreck. When i had got there she had sever brusise on her head, and wasnt acting right! Both th ambulance drivers and the sheriff didint want to take her to the ER. So i didnt know what to do, but drive down and embankment, and pcik her up and take her myself! Anyway, when i got there they done testing. It seemed like i had to tell them to check for concussion, and everything myself.
Anyway about four days went by, and she wasnt getting any better. I had to have her moved!
I trasnfered her from clinton county hospital in albany,ky to cookeville regional hospital in cookeville,tn.
Anyway from that evening she arrived i got a call and said she was two pints of blood low, and she had also had a broke pelvic bone in two places.
The hospital ER doctor in albany,ky. failed to see both of these things.
My question is is there anything i can do to report him to a medical review board or anything?
Can we file medical malpractice law suit?
Any help appreciated!
