medical worker took money from dying patient

My jurisdiction is: Alabama

A medical worker talked my mother into transferring thousands of dollars from her checking account to an account set up for her and my mother. This occurred after Hospice had taken over my mother's case and she was heavily medicated and confused. I think it could be criminal. Where should I report this to. She took almost all our funds so we can't afford to pay much and take care of the probate as well. Please help. :no:

You must have proof that this was not involuntary or under duress. Have you reported this to the hospice? What actions have they taken to prevent this from happening to others? Have you reported this to the police? Finally, consult with an attorney.
