My son, then age 16, was arrested for MIP in May 2005 in one county and again in Nov 2005 in a different county. The Nov 05 incident came to court in Jan 06. He pled guilty on Jan 10, was given "probation" until April 10th and has to complete an essay. When the Ref gets the essay, the charge will be deferred.
We just got served today with a date for the May 05 incident scheduled in Feb 06. If he pleds guilty, even though my son did not have a driver's license in May 05, will the Sec of State consider this his second offense and do something to his license?
If so, what does the Sec of State do on the second offense?
Do the occurrances that happened while he was a juvenile get counted and add to new ones if he gets more MIP's as an adult, age 17 or over?
