Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Minnesota shoplifting misdemeanor help

I was caught shoplifting at a well known retail store. I am 15 and have good grades in school. This was my first offence. I was stupid and regret doing it. Not because I got in trouble but because I commuted a crime. I feel like a convict. I was charged with a petty misdemeanor. I need to know a few things
:will I go to juvie?
:What will I have to pay for
-how much?
:I have heard of diversion, what exactly is that and do I want it?
:will the police contact my school(keep in mind this happened quite sways from my home town)
:what can I do to get off with less of a punishment

Trust me I have learned my lesson, I have been torn with regret and shame since I have done it. I just want to put this terrible incedent behind me....

Without knowing if any classes are involved or amount you stole we cannot say. There will court fines under $500.00 with the addition of any classes court might ask you to take. There is also a Civil fine but without knowing the value of what you stole I cannot guess at amount

Your arrest is a matter of public record anyone can view it. Will Police call school? Not likely however courts may do so if it fits into courts probation plans for you
