Hi, The other day I went into the local liquor store to buy a twelve pack of beer with a fake ID. The store clerk put a black light on my ID and saw that it was fake. He took the ID away from me and turned it into the local police. The Fake ID contained all my information on it, and a couple of days later the police showed up at my door to charge me. I received a ticket for minor attempting to purchase alcohol, which is a misdemenior. The police have already taken a statement in which I told them the truth. I need advice of what to do, and I am curious to know if there is anyway to get this charge taken down to a civil infraction or differ it off of my record. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
