Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Minor In Consumption Citation Error

A friend of mine has recieved a citation for Minor In Consumption of Alcohol, the arresting officer wrote up the citation and gave her a printed court date on the citation. The court date on her copy of the citation is 1-15-07, todays date is 1/31/07. I know it is an error by the arresting officer. I guess my question is can we fight that ticket? If the court date is wrong will it get thrown out in court? Just a question, any insight would be great!

Additional Info.

This happened in State of ND, It will go up against the towns Municipal Judge. The ticket she signed with the error on it was a promise to appear. I know what the court date should be and she will appear, I have also done some research myself on this and it looks like its not a fatal error on the ticket only a technical error. But will still accept any opinions you have to offer.
