Well i went to a school dance and made the decision to pregame in my car. Waiting in line for enterance i handed my keys/phone/wallet to my friend for him to hold in his backpack. He decided to hop out of line and make a visit to my car. Unfortunately, some old women waiting in the parking lot saw every move he made and notified the police.

I blew a .06 and was given an M.I.C.

Everyone has told me including my lawyor that it will probally not go on my record because this is my first charge ever. However i could be put on a probation.

My question is, since the answer changes from person to person, what exactly happens on this probation period.

Ive been told im supposed to go in for random drug screening but this doesnt make sense since my charge is not drug related ? Or am i just "flagged" meaning that anything that any charges brought onto me will have much larger consequences ?

I totally agree with you, it doesn't make sense! But the rationale is that if you are prohibited from alcohol, your next move is drugs! So, it's common for you to be drug tested, even if you have no history or desire for drugs!
