A month ago I got caught stealing $58 worth of stuff from Walmart...stupid idea...And I deffinatly learned my lesson and wont be doing it again...
So I got taken into the back room, and cooperated very easily..And they called the state police, and I got taken to the police station where they took my finger prints and everything. Since Im 17 and a minor, my dad was called in, and the cop was going to take us into the questioning room and I guess question me, but like the second we got in there, there was a bad accident and he had to leave, so he just let us go.
I got a letter in the mail last week that said I needed to pay the $58 and sign my name under "I plead guilty" or go through the process of pleading not guilty. So I signed I Plead Guilty, and paid the $58.
And I just got another thing in the mail that says I need to go to court on Wednesday

What more is going to happen?
Im 17, this is my first offense, I have nothing else on my record, and my parents decided I needed to go to therapy for shoplifting, so Im doing that also.
What will happen when I go to court? Will there be anymore fines?

The first letter was from the Magisterial District Judge, and in it was the paper they filled out in walmart, and the $58 I had to pay was the restitution or something like that. There was also a paper that I needed to sign guilty or plead not guilty.

the second letter that I just got was from the same. Magisterial District Judge. It says that my charge is "Retail Theft-Take Mdse"
Then it just tells me when I need to be there, and it says "Comments: Defendent to appear with legal gaurdian to discuss plea"

Ok I will "assume" this will be sentencing since you did a foolish thing signing that paper saying your guilty. You might seek a consult with an Attorney and show him the letters. We cant be too much help without knowing what these are

Well I was guilty...How would I have pleaded not guilty? They caught me, I admitted to it, gave them back the items I took, and had to go to the police station and be finger printed. Theres no way I could say "No, I didnt do it. Im not guilty of shoplifting."

You missed the point. By pleading guilty you accept whatever sentence your given. By pleading not guilty you buy time to work out plea deal which might carry lighter setence or options to have case dismissed after successful completion of probation.
