I am a student at Sam Houston State University and i live on campus. School started on august 21st and my dad and i moved in that weekend. why my father was ther he bought a 12 pack of budweiser and left some of the beer here because the greyhound wouldnt let him take it on with him i was suppose to either throw it away or take it back to fort worth with me the next week end. then threw all the confussion of getting settled in the empty box went underneath my bed and the rest of the beer (6) where in the fridge. I never even used my fridge because i never eat in the dorm and never needed to open the fridge in which is why i forgot about the beer. The Residence assistant came in my room to talk to me and started to look around seen the empty box and wanted to search my fridge and when he did he seen the beer call the police and i was issued a citation. They never gave me a chance to tell where it came from. Am i still in violation of the law and how should i plead on this.
