Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft mip and petty theft

I was caught stealing and there was also wine coolers in my cart. I was charged with mip because im 19 and also pety theft. this is a first offense. what will happen? would I still be eligible for diversion?

You should plead not guilty, admit to nothing, confess to nothing, and request the court appoint a public defender to assist you.
Don't make any deals without the assistance of your attorney.
If you've already said TOO MUCH, tell your lawyer, stop blabbing, and wait.
Diversion or not (which is likely what you'll receive), this will mess with your future for years to come.

Diversion will keep you out of jail, but it won't take the stain off of your name.

The MIP makes Diversion tougher but not impossible. Do as AJ instructed and remove store name from post
