Hi, i was wondering if anyone could offer any advice in a situation that has occurred. I recently traveled to San Antonio with a couple of my friends and we were just driving around the town, looking for a place to eat. The driver of the car accidentally turned the wrong way on a one way, and passed a stop sign, and there was a cop car that was parked by, and it pulled us over. I was the passenger in the car, and they made me and the driver get out of the vehicle, and they pulled me away with out telling me why. They then told me to go back to the car, and take out a bag that they saw on the floor. When i opened it, there were two bottles of alcohol in the bag. I calmly and politely explained to the officer that they werent mine, and he took me away to question me. He then went to talk to the other officer, and when he came back, he told me that the driver had put the blame on me, and said the alcohol was mine. The officer said that he believed me, but since they had blamed me, he had to issue me a ticket for Minor In Possession. The driver also happens to be my roommate, and he has written a letter to me apologizing for blaming me for the alcohol and he says in the letter that he would confess, only as a last resort though. I was wondering what i should do? Does anyone have any suggestion or help that they can offer?
The alcohol wasnt mine, and if i am convicted of this, i lose my scholarships and all the grants that i have towards college.

Oh yeah, i am 18 years old and this is my first offense.

Thanks in advance and sorry for such a long message.
