I'm 17 years old and last night my friend and i were at this shell station. Another one of my friends bought a 12 pack, after he already had another one in his jeep. I took the second 12 pack and put it in my car.
Then all of a sudden 4 cops jump out of a white van and take both 12 packs. My friend in the jeep who had a fake id, bought the beer, and had a 12 pack in his car just had to call his parents and he went home. The cop gave me a MIP and let me go home.
This is a first time offense, with nothing else on my record. Now i don't have a problem with paying a fine. But i don't know whether to plead guilty or no contest. Because my school is very strict on these matters, and if word gets back to them i will get kicked off the baseball team and maybe expelled. Should i just convict myself and enter a plea of guilty or should i try the no contest route?
