I was pulled over (not driving) and the driver didnt have his liscence on him. so the officer asked him to step out of the car and he complied, then the officer asked me who was in the passenger seat to give him all our 'open containers' i told him we didnt have any (the truth) but i added that we had an empty glass (had contained alcohol several nights before). He then pulled me and the other 2 passengers out of car and searched it. he asked if i had anything to drink 2night i said yes 1 drink. he breathelized (0.03) me and gave me my MIP ticket. I asked if i was free to go being that we were pulled over in front of the drivers house. He declined saying that i was to call my parents on my cell phone and he would be bringing me home. I told him i had gotten kicked out several weeks prior and i wasnt comfortable goin back yet. He said "I dont Care" I was 18 at the time as was every1 else in the car. Was the officer violating my rights by forcing me to call my parents and driving me home?

Thank you for your time
