Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication MIP resisting and disorderly conduct

i was at a party and ran from the cops i was caught down by a main rd and pushed into the middle of the street by the cop he then draged me acrosse the road and pulled me up to a parking lot where he then searched me and took my cell phone the only thing that was on me. they then took me to the station they then asked me questions and tried to get in touch with my parents they could not and took down more of my information they then found out i was 16 and said that they would try me as an adult they put me in the cell, 15 min later they read me my rights and a few min after that they finally told me what i was under arrest for. after my mug shot one of the cops talking to the other said guys look at this ugly motherf#####. i hurt my foot and arm when i was pushed onto the street and was taken to the hospital for x-rays. I was wondering if they had to read me my rights when they said i was under arrest and if they also had to tell me what i was under arrest for when they said i was under arrest. also i have bruises all over my body from the cop pushing me into the middle of a main rd with cars driving by i almost got hit by 2 and then dragging me back across the street i also have cuts all over my arm, the cop also said that i ran with a beer bottle and droped it when i made it to the street thats why i got a possesion charge witch is not tru because i did not have any beer on me that night and did not run through the woods with a beer i had nothing on me besides a cell phone. i am getting a lawyer for when i go to court but i was trying to find out some information so any info would help thank you.

I'm sorry to hear about the bruises and the experience. I think you are going about it the right way and hope you took pictures of your bruises -- which I'm sure your lawyer will tell you to do. Your lawyer is in the best position to give you advice since he has been able to ask you additional questions about your story. There is a question whether the officer had cause to arrest you since he would have to state when it was that he clearly saw you in possession of the alcohol. However the one part to your story that I would be curious about, if I was a judge, would be why you decided to start running. Were you the only person outside of this party? Why would the officer single you out?
