Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication MIP tobacco and marijuana

me and two friends were in a car the driver who is on probation and 19 yrs old rolled a stop sign in front of a school. since he is on probation the cops could search the car and passengers without consent. i had a pack of cigs and a gram of marijuana in my posession my court date is september 28 and i havent gotten the thing that says how much i owe in the mail yet. i was just wondering if i have any chance in fighting this or should i just plead guilty and pay up. any and all comments or suggestions are appreciated

You won't get anything like that in the mail . Depend what state you're in they have their own punishment guide lines . The judge will make a decision . In your case if I was you I plead guilty.

no in california they send you something in the mail telling you your options as far as paying goes i will for sure get one for the mip ticket i dont know about the marijuana one
