Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication MIP when I was 16

I was recently caught drinking at a park with about 40 other kids 11 of which, including me, recieved MIP's. I was wondering if the punishment will be different for me because i was only 16 and it was my first offense. I have heard that if I were 17 the punishment would be much worse.

I forgot to add that it was an MIP by consumption, we were breathalyzed, and I live in Micihigan.
