Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Mip

I was in Ohio, I went to Put-in-bay and stayed at a campsite right outside of the island. I was at the neighbors picnic table and they were older, and they had a beer on the table, when a cop drove by, I previously in the day was drinking, but at that time I wasn't. The cop gave me a MIP ticket and he didn't breath alize me or anything. I live in Michigan, I never got in trouble before I can't afford going back and forth to Ohio, should I plead guilty or not guilty?

If you plead guilty:
you will have likely community service and a fine

if you plead not guilty possibility is either:
A) you plead your case and that the beer belonged to your friends whom where of age and you where never given a blood alcohol test to prove you had been drinking. with good luck this will result in the ticket being dropped (more likely if you are a first offender)

B) you are found guilty and you are sentenced to more community service and a larger fine than if you had plead not guilty
