Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Mip

I got an MIP last night. I need some advice on what to do. I want to fight it because everything would be dropped if the cops don't show up...right? I only blew a .05 and the legal limit is .08 to drive. Is there a chance that the cop won't even turn the ticket in? I read something about just being on probation but than you have to pay for that. Does anyone know how much it costs. Please help!

The fine for me in Michigan is $200...kinda sucks!!

Cops don't need to show up at your arraingement . If you fight it or plead not guilty then the judge will set up another day for you to come back I think cops will show up this time. Depend what state you're in fine and cost are different . For example in Michigan if you plead guilty judge will tell you what is your punishment, then you have to see a probation officer for PSI (pre sentence investigation ) this will cost you $90 on top of the fines after that you will come back to see the judge for sentencing he probably make you pay court cost so I think you look at from 500-1000 or less but they always tell you bring 500-1000 with you at the sentecing day.
