Criminal Law Misdeamenor and H1B renewal ....

here is my case,

i was charge with lewd conduct but was reduced to trespassing.

now i have my 140 approved and just waiting for my priority date. My 6th year for H1B is also coming up.

my questions are, will i get denied for GC or extension? or deported?

what are my chances, i just don't want to waste my time and money knowing that i dont have any chance at all to have a GC or my visa extended.

I have a girl best friend who is willing to marry me, who is of legal status, but i dont want to put her situation into jeopardy. But she said that we probably love and care for each other more than any other couple here in the US so why cant we get married ....

please advise. i am such in a dilemma right now, i can't function and this is driving me crazy.

This is a very tricky question because it is like flipping a coin, we cant tell you if you will get an extension it will solely depend on who deals with your case.

You see when you are convicted of a crime, you end up with the odds stacked against you before you start. My advice is go for the extension and keep you fingers crossed that all go's well. We can only offer advice, we are not your legal representative if you are still unsure then you should go and see your local immigration attory.

It would be very hard to give statistics because we normally only here when people are trying to apply and not many come back and give there results.

You have everything to gain by trying, that is the best advice. If you dont try you will never know, each case is individual and is down to how much the person dealing with you actual case is satisfied that they are making the correct judgement at the time.
