What are my legal options for first time misdemeanor of shifting $100 I was issued citation by police am wondering to plead guilty or not guilty. I made a huge mistake trying to get stocking stuffers for my kids but did not have enough money

You plead not guilty and hire an Attorney or request public defender. Once you met with this Lawyer you ask about options like ACD or Diversion

If you can get a lawyer before going to court, do so. If you can't afford one, tell that to the court & see if they will appoint one (public defender) for you.

Definitely plead not guilty. The lawyer will go over your options with you to get you the best outcome possible.

About $100 worth of Chinese junk, will cost you about $2,000 to $3,000 in REAL, US DOLLARS, maybe more!

Plus, the time, tears, and turmoil in your life.

Then there's the 100 to 200 hours of community service you could end up doing.

STEALING is trouble, pain, and a soiled, dirty, filthy criminal jacket, FOREVER!
