The story: You are 17 years old and arrested for theft under 50.00. (which was beer from a convenience store) and consumption of alcohol as a minor. The cost: Either 3.5 days in the city jail or a large fine paid in cash.
The fine was paid in full.
The question: When the 17 year old turns 18 is there a chance that the record will be sealed?
In TX, is there a process whereby the record can be sealed? What are the options?
