Missing my children

Okay my children were taken from my home because the county I live in felt my boyfriend was a threat to my children. He is now in jail and has been in jail for almost a month but they took my kids almost two weeks ago. All they have on him is allegations on what happened. My daughter was outside playing when I heard her screaming. When I went outside to see what she was screaming about my neighbor was letting her out of a dog pen we have under our carport that is 8x10. So they said because he has a past of Domestic issues they felt he did it. When my daughter was asked about it from the local police department she told them she put herself in it. Well the Lady from SRS said there was no way she put herself in it and my landlord stated there was no way she put herself in it. Then another instince where my boyfriend and I were driving to another town and he got mad and shattered the glass and my daughter was also in the car. This little episode I could see why that would concern them but now I have to go thru domestic violence class and parenting class to get my kids back. The state has told me its nothing I have done wrong they just felt that if I stayed with this individual that he would harm my kids so I am court ordered to stay away from him if I ever want to have my kids at home with me again. Please someone tell me what to do.

Although you were told that you had done nothing wrong, the state obviously feels that the bolded portions above are reason enough to doubt your judgment regarding your children. If you want to get them back, do everything you are directed to do, and that includes leaving your boyfriend.

Dump your boyfriend. He is the problem here and if you choose your boyfriend over your kids then your kids will not be returned. He has anger mgmt issues which is not good considering you have kids. Also the risk of child abuse goes up when an unrelated male moves in the house. He is much more apt to hurt your kids then their dad, or you.

Also not sure where the kids dad is but he can always ask for custody and likely get it with the boyfriend being around. He sounds like trouble. Put your kids first and end the relationship. He is not worth it. No man should be worth your kids. Also if you are sticking up for him, there are going to be more problems and one day your kids may get harmed.

The county's already told you what to do: Stay away from him. Ask the county when you can apply to get your kids back.
