I was given a citation for speeding in Monroe, OH. It's a rural road on the outskirts of city limits. The officer was hiding out behind a barn at the only farm house on the road. He locked me in at 58 in a 35 via radar. I know it's way over the limit but it's a rural road, no traffic, mind was wondering, easy to do. You know the story...
The mistake on the ticket clearly states that I was driving a 1988 Chevrolet when it is actually a 1989. The registration and proof on insurance I provided both state 1989 Chevrolet. Can I get off the hook on a technicality like this? Can I get more info from clerk of courts? Anything else I should look into like radar calibrations? Thanks in advance for your help.
