Goodafternoon. I have a question for anyone out there. The short story is this. I found and picked up a car key at the bank today and placed into my pocket, not thinking to give it to a teller. I work in the bike shop which is in the plaza where the bank is also located. I did not think anything of it. Later in the evening as I was leaving work on my bike and going home I pass the bank. Very shortly later a cop pulls me over and arrests me. I was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and possible larceny or auto theft larceny. I have never been in trouble with the law and do not know what to do next. I am a good person with a solid reputation and this is going to not only be a headache but this is also going to harm that reputation. What advice can you give me?
