Modification or contempt of court

My ex husband has been paying child support but was ordered to pay for half of our daughters braces which he has not. We are in Alabama and I have been told I could file the paperwork myself without a lawyer to get him back in court but I do not know what I need to file or the proper wording. My daughter has not been to ortho in 2 years and still has on her braces and I can not afford to hire my attorney again. Please someone tell me if or what I can do.

Have you tried to work something out with the Ortho to bill your ex husband? Your daughter needs dental care. There si no way to force him to pay even if you get a judgement so you should do whatever necessary to see this DR and work on paying him, then seek reimbursement from the ex.
