Is the attorney fees the same for a monetary settlement and a settlement for the replacement of a piece of equipment that has already been purchased. The equipment cost 150,000 paid at purchase. The company is offering a new piece of equiment worth 165,000. Is the fee on the 15,000 difference or the 150,000 the purchase price?

That question is best answered by your attorney. It all depends on how he/she wrote the contingency in their retainer agreement.
