I work a part time job, and in the process I was put in charge of another employee who is being payed under the table because he receives disability payment and cannot hold certain jobs because then he would lose this. The job also requires him to have a security guard certificate, which he does not have. When we were cleaning up at an event he started taking down a pop-up tent, I was asked to assist him, but he had already broken the tent beyond repair and now they are taking $50 off my next paycheck to help pay for it without my consent, in fact I told them NO! Do I have a case? and is it worth me pursuing any legal action if there is some to be taken. I live in Oregon, Thank you.
