Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft money order theft

About two months I purchased at money order with the amount of $325. I turned it in on out neighborhood office to make a space payment... The due date for my rent had fallen on a weekend so I left it on the slot that they have next to the door. That slot is really thin, And what goes in is not meant to be taken back out. About two weeks ago I got a call from the neighborhood office saying that I was behind on a payment... That the month of June had not been payed. I called money order, and I was told that someone had cashed it. They had two options in order for me to find out who had cashed the money order . First option was to pay $15,and they would send me a copy of the money order with the info of the person who cashed it and where it was cashed at with in 30-60 days. Second option was pay $24 and get all the above thru email with in 2 days. I chose the fasted was just at the fact that I wanted to get this over with.
I only got the place where it was cashed and a copy of the money order on how it was received...
What can I do now should I go to the bank and ask them question, which I know they won't tell me much of or just go the the police station and press charges even if i dont know who the person who cashed it was?

Make a police report. They can do much of the work for you and sometimes much faster.
In the mean time, you still need to pay your rent. It does not matter the money order was stolen, you still owe it.
