Money owed

Background: I worked for parties "A" and "B" in a "1099" situation. They were not able to obtain parts for certain machines because of a personal disagreement between themselves and the manufacturer. I have a good relationship with the manufacturer. I obtained parts for party "A". Party "A" has not paid any on the bill for several months because he wants to use it as leverage to get the manuf. to talk to him. I am caught in the middle as approx. $4500.00 is on my "tab". Parties "A" and "B" have told me 6 times that they have sent a check, but they have not. What, if anything, is my recourse?

Often the threat of a lawsuit tends to help that check find its way to the right mailbox.

Arkansas allows lawsuits up to $5000 to be filed in Small Claims Court.
