Money that is owed to me but have not received

In my divorce papers with my ex it states that he owes me $7,000. And is to pay me within three years from the decree date. It is two months past the decree date and I have not received any of the money. How do I go about getting this money from him?

You can file a motion for contempt. Your local courthouse may have the forms available.

What if I live in Hawaii and he is in NH. The divorce was in NH, do I need to file the contempt in NH as well?

Yes. You might want to retain a lawyer in NH to file for you.
