As posted in my other threads I am having problems with my wife's family. Today in the mail I received a letter from CPS stating that I need to allow them to come into my house on Monday. Do I have to let them come in? My daughter will be 18 in November. Also do I have a right to know who initiated the investigation?

CPS will not release information about who initiated the investigation.

If they have a warrant or court order you will have no choice.

If they do not have a warrant or court order you can refuse....but it will not look good in court, unfortunately.

Absent a warrant, you don't have to allow anyone entry to your home.
It is never wise to voluntarily agree to anything CPS wants to do to you, unless you desire to be "legally raped"!

Even if they possess a warrant, you have the RIGHT to remain silent.
It is NEVER in anyone's interest to speak with the police.
Unless you permit them to speak to you, you do not have to speak with the police, CPS, or any other agency.

I suggest you retain an attorney.
If you can't afford one, then it is even more imperative that YOU do NOT speak with these "jackbooted" thugs.

Know this, they mean YOU no good.
Of course, it is best to be civil.
It sometimes doesn't hurt to listen.
But, even then the "jackbooted" thugs are sizing you up, measuring you, studying you for the nefarious purpose of one day convicting you of SOMETHING.

The "letter" CPS sent you isn't a warrant.
It has no legal authority.
It is their ILLEGAL way to get inside your home.
Your home is constitutionally protected from illegal entry and searches.

Talking to these demons will come to no good.
If they had a warrant, they wouldn't advise you that they were coming.
They'd arrive en masse, in true "jackbooted" thug fashion, and kick your door down!

Finally, anything you say and do, can, and will be used to CONVICT you!
