Moving theft

I hired a moving company to move my personal belongings from NJ, to Seattle WA. They are in breach of contract because they have 21 days to set a delivery date and have not done so. Some others things, but I feel they have stolen my stuff. Do I speak to the Police or some other agency? I posted a complaint with the better business bureau. Any suggestions?

Yes, the police might be a good option. At least you'll learn what the police can or can't do.

Moving companies have gotten so much attention for their ummmm outstanding service, that the US Gov't has set up a web site to file complaints and research companies.

This does not appear to be theft. Police are unlikely to help especially if you are now in WA and the incident occurred in NJ.
You have a civil dispute to resolve in court if you can't work it out with the company.
Have you spoken with them about this?
