So I'm originally from PA. Moved to los angeles a while back and got my car registered in LA. I still had my plates from PA this whole time. I got a ticket in LA with the CA plates. I passed on paying it so now I got a 1000 dollar court date in august. I'll be moving back to PA before then and switching my plates back. Can they trace me and penalize me in PA if I do this? Is it likely?

Will they? Who knows, but California, like most states these days is broke. They aggressively go after any money they believe is owed them. Well, they might not, but their collection agent might.

Never should of moved to this god forsaken place. God like 100 parking tickets. California sucks!
