You should thank the officer for not reacting more harshly to what many officers would determine to be a FURTIVE motion.

Not a smart move making such FURTIVE motions during a traffic stop.
Some people get killed attempting such silly and dangerous stunts.
You could have walked, had you not tried to clean up your husband's mess.
