Multiple Defendants - what is total judgement amount?

I just received my Notice of Judgment. I won the case, and was suing 3 defendants. The form indicates $1,000.00 total judgement; I asked for $3,000.00, which was the total cost of the damage I incurred.

My question is: is this the Total Judgement per defendant, or the total judgement combined?

The form does not indicate any percentages or totals per defendant. The clerks's office could not give me an answer, they could not tell themselves. Phone numbers on the back of the form are disconnected, so there is no one I can turn for help.

It sounds like $1000 is the total judgment. It's unclear how it is to be apportioned. If you really can't tell, go back to the judge to have the order clarified. Or check for more current phone numbers at the court's internet site or with the clerk.
