Me and my husband separated in August 2011' I had just found out I was pregnant 11 days before I left... He was mentally and physically abusive... I filed a report with the police which he pled guilty to... He sees her once every 2 months or so for 30minutes to an hour... His choosing... and even then, he uses that time to try to manipulate me and then fight when it doesn't go his way... I set up where he can visit every Wednesday from 5-6p at my home with my parents present, which he originally agreed on... I'm not a spiteful person, I understand that he is her father, but he is telling me he is going to start getting her on weekends over night, ect. Like he does his other 4 children(by 3 different mothers) don't bash me, I was only 19 and obviously was too young to make a decision that big... Is it in my favor to ask for court ordered supervised visits until he builds a relationship with her??? She is 13 months old...

Eventually he's going to get the regular visitation. She's plenty old enough to spend the night with him.

You can request a phased-in visitation plan, but yes eventually he's going to get overnights, weekends and longer periods.

Not much I can add, except you should remain vigilant.
He's a convicted batterer and abuser.
If I were you, I'd avoid him.
I'd arrange to hand over the child in a police station.
I wouldn't want a creep like that in my parent's home, or my home.
Abusers, beaters, batterers rarely change, they just get slicker.
You're smart now, because you see part of his scam, to get you back into his evil web.
Stay smart, get smarter, arrange for child exchanges to be done in a police station.
If I were you, I'd avoid seeing this batterer by getting a RESTRAINING ORDER, if that's possible.
If not, stop hosting him in your home or parent's home.
Get ready for overnights (like Pro advised), but don't allow him in your home and exchange the child in a police station.
