My apartment building sold to bad management company, options?

Two weeks after I moved into my apartment in Los Angeles on Sept 1st, my apartment complex was sold to a new company. No one notified me until after the building was sold. Do I have the option to opt out of my lease since I was not notified of the sale? Should I have been given the option when the building was sold? The new management company operates with different rules and suddenly we have been having various problems, like roaches appearing, the hot water going out all day, and random power surges. I do not like the new company and really want to move. What are my options?
