My ex boss

i have been at my new job for 2 months and sense the day i left my last job my ex boss has been trying to get ahold of me to see where i am working, having employees call me to see where i am working. and once she found out where i moved to she calls my current employer (4 times now) and slanderers my name. i never once did anything to her , or the company, and did nothing but work my toosh off. im at a stand still at what to do. i cant have her calling my work and doing this to me, not only is it against the law, but its childish! Can i file harassment? or go to the better business and explain? i just dont know what to do.

It's not against the law to call someone.

The Better Business Bureau is a consumer agency, not a regulatory agency, and has no authority to do anything in a situation like this.

It may be childish but it is not against the law per se.

What, if any, action has your new employer taken against you as a result of these calls. Have you lost your job? Been fired? Demoted? Put on warning?

Did your current employer tell you your ex boss has been calling & slandering your name? What did your current employer say to you about this - did your current employer take any adverse action against you because of these calls?
