I don't know if this is the right place, didn't know where to exactly put it.

My mom who is living with my grandparents in NY, my grandparents are trying to kick her out and she is disabled. She is in a wheelchair and can't walk. They have taken a lot of her money and are very harsh, lie and cheat to get what they want, my fiance and I have been trying to help her get to Washington State but it's like they do everything they can to stop her.

I lived there until because of them, I had a breakdown and ended up in the mental hospital twice, because it wasn't safe for me mentally there I wasn't allowed to go back and my fiance got the money to help me get to WA and now we want to do the same for my mom. We wish we can just let her stay with us but my fiance and I live with his parents in a single wide mobile home. Though, because I lived with them for a while, I know what they are really like and no one around in NY wants to believe me or my mom which makes things harder.

They went through SSI to get her assistant living housing around there without her knowledge. She didn't find out till this morning and they want her out of the house by next week. She doesn't want to go there she wants to go to WA to get far away from them as she can. We also believe they had to do something illegally to get that housing or lie to get it because it's odd she could without my mom having to do paper work. My grandma has SSI and has lied that about my mom saying she is taking care of a retarded disabled person who can't read or write to up her SSI and all that is not true but she did it so she would get more money.

I talked to a Disability rights Advocate in WA and told him what is going on, I was told because they are not her guardians that they can not force her out and make her go there if she does not want to do that. She is an adult and they can't force her out. Though when my mom called police to tell them what is going on, all they said is that there is nothing they can do.

My mom doesn't know what is going on, all she knows is that they are forcing her to go to his living home place and she doesn't know where it is. No one else will tell her anything, she tried calling SSI, they won't tell her anything and my grandparents are leaving her in the dark.

What can she do? She is afraid to tell them what that the disability rights advocate said because she feels like my grandparents will make her life a living hell.

If the disability rights advocate told me that they can not force her, shouldn't the police do something? Even more so since they had to do this through lieing or something illegally? Like I said, all this was done without her knowledge, I think that would be illegal enough. We believe she lied about my mom being retarded again, we think that is how they got everything set up. My grandparents won't even help her pack anything, so she is afraid they might try to sell some of our stuff, I have some of my stuff that is still there. They will do anything to get money.

Also because of this, this may have messed up my mom getting some goverment grants and she talked to the people where she is trying to get the grants, they even said what they are doing seems illegal.
