My manager is threatening me.

Is there any legal action i can take about being threatened by my manager at work? I left on my break and when i came back to work my manager had clocked me out so i went home. I am supposed to be to work on Monday but my manager said if i come into work she is going to "punch me in the face". I am not going to work now because i feel like i may get assaulted.

You're kidding, right? What damages award are you expecting and would a phone call to your manager solve the problem of your fear of assault?

Sounds like a fire to me. Did you just leave or ask your manager beforehand about whether or not you were terminated?
