What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

hello
I live in California. I have a prescription/recommendation whatever you wanna call it from an MD (an internist).

If in fact the "stores" I buy my marijuana medication from (and yes i really do need it for medicinal reasons) get raided and or shut down, what happens to their client records?

Does the DEA keep our names on record as users?

And if your on federal probation will the names be forwarded to the probation office? or any other office?
thanks

While the records they maintain may be accessible to law enforcement in the event of a raid, it would require explicit permission in a search warrant to do so. Generally speaking, your client information should be safe.
If the records were to be reviewed the review would be done by a third party who would determine what information within the records was relevant to the search warrant. Information that is not pertinent to the investigation would remain protected.

Does this mean that if the warrant does not specify MY name for example that my name would be protected?

Thanks

It would depend on the nature of the information being sought in the warrant.
It is not easy to get access to that sort of information, even with a warrant, unless there is a VERY good cause... and even then, as I explained, it is limited and conducted through a third party to protect the information not relevant.
You probably don't have anything to worry about.
