I was recently fired from doing a fake return of $88.86 on a merchandise credit and I sent a check to the law office of the full amount of $88.86 and I thought I was done because that was the amount the LP specialist of the company said I had to pay and surprisingly I didn't know I had to pay an additional fee or $381 and Im still unemployed. My question is if Im able to pay at least half of that amount will they still take me to court? Will I get a criminal record either way if I pay the full amount or don't? That's what I'm worried the most because Im worried if employers will find out about this and won't hire me

This is a civil action and unrelated to any court issues. If you are required to go to court you will have fines there as well. You should have waited until the Law firms contacted you before paying. There are many negatives this law firm can choose from for your not paying full amount so I suggest you pay.
Far as criminal record goes you can avoid this by discussing plea options with your Attorney
