My wife is in love with another man, How do we separate?

We've been together 17 years married for 14. We have 3 children ages 5 & under. She recently told she's in love with a co-worker and not me. I believe from from talking to her that this is the end. She's been sleeping with the kids at night and goes to sleep when she puts them down, with out even speaking to me about anything. She wanted a separation but still live in the same house for the kids, but I don't think it's working, at least not for me. I feel I need to tell her to leave but I'm not sure, If I do tell her to leave will that hurt my chances of keeping the children. I need help help! I don't know what to do first!
