Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft need advice

I was arrested from work the charges are embesalment and when thofficer searched my lunch bag, he found five oxi cotten pills that had been in my bag for several months they were given to me on a day i had complained to a co worked about back pain I jad then forgotten that they were even in my bag. This is my first offence ever and would like to know what will happen to me at this time. i have been let go from my place of work and have found other employment where I just want to pay for my fine and to start over again...

I wish I could tell you everything is going to be ok, but Embezzlement is serious, so is possession of a drug like Oxycontin, which is widely abused. . .for the most part, and not to be rude, but nobody in the criminal justice system is going to buy that you had back pain, obtained oxycontin, then just "forgot" about it and didn't use it.

it was not for a great amount of money 1,400 I know it is still not right and i did forget that i had the pills in my bag, I go to court in the morning and hopeing for the best and ready to take what ever is handed to me...

You kept five pills in your lunch bag for months!!? Not saying its not true but it is hard to swallow. $1400.00 I suspect takes the theft to felony levels. Yuo need to talk to a Lawyer today!

I went to court and no charges had been filed as of yet so another crt date was set for nov. 3rd. i am some what confused about this but was told that the company has up to a yr. to file is this true. I will have to have public defender at this time..

and yes i did drop the pills in the bottom of my lunch bag and had planned to clean it out at some point but never got to it, I do not use drugs and feel that those charges should be dropped, and I am willing to take drug test at any time...

They have until statute of limitations runs out to file. Depending on charge that will vary on time
