Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Need answers

I was recently caught shoplifting from shopko. It was very stupid and very wrong and i am trying to fix my mistake by volunteering to different churches and such. I have a couple of questions. When i was caught i had about $60 worth of stuff and I was with a couple of friends. This is my first offense (I dont even have traffic violations). I am 16 years old. Shopko called the cops but no citations or manditory court dates were given. Our rights were read to us. I was also sued civally and have already paid for it. So my question is what is the chances that the charges will be dropped. And if it helps i am in Idaho.

If charges have been file chances are slightly above zero they will be dropped

Well since you were not given a citation or anything at time I assume you will get a court date in mail

Depends on how busy the court system in that county is. Could be a few weeks to a few months.

No actually i was just asking if that is a possibility

Not likely by calling Police they involved them. If they choose to not file then they wasted the Police time. This would not do well for them as they might not arrive as quickly for next call. There is not point in calling Police if they did not intend to press criminal charges
