I have been married since 1999, walked out on my husband due to personal reasons on October 5, 2007. He now lives in Ohio & I'm still here in Florida. I have emails from him that make threats about harming my life, etc if I don't come back. I'm getting stuck with collection bills that were his bills to start with cause he isn't paying & I'm a co-signer on account. He has threatened to come get my car (which has his name also) due to not being able to afford his truck.
I make enough money to pay my bills (I live pay check to pay check). I'm looking for any type of legal aid possible & what rights do I have (can I go for alimony & if so, what is the appropriate amount to go for, what about the vechiles, etc). There are no children involved.
Any advice would be great. I live in Polk County by the way.
