I am in a situation with my ex. She is the mother of my only son. She recently got married and her new husband keeps cutting my son's hair. He has cut my son's head with the clippers and now recently he got an extremely bad case of ringworm. I have given more money to her so that my son goes to a professional to get a haircut. I have asked politely for the husband to not touch my son's hair. He continues. I am going through a mediator for other issues we are having. Is there a way to legally have a motion for him to not touch my son's hair? Should I get mediator to address this issue?

I'm hoping that you're not thinking that cutting kiddo's hair has somehow given him ringworm....right?

Please.

Don't do this.

You'll end up looking completely ridiculous in court, and paying HER legal costs, too.

And even if you were successful - this is what's going to happen:

Mediator: Wife, your husband is no longer allowed to cut your son's hair.
Wife: Okay.

(later that same evening...)

Child: OMG my stepdad cut my hair again, Dad!
Mom: Sigh...honey, you know that's not true. You know Mommy cut it this time, because Stepdad isn't allowed to touch your hair any more.

Good luck with that, Dad.

Honestly - I'm not being mean here...but is this REALLY the hill upon which you want to die?

Seriously?!
