Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Need Help before tomorrow!! Please

My husban was arrestted this afternoon on his way to work. He was pulled over for speeding which he really wasnt doing..anyways...A year ago he made a big mistake and stole from work. We were excepting a new baby and I was put on bed rest caues I was having problums due to have cervical cancer. I had to leave me job leaving all the money on him. He tried so hard to make sure everything was ok so I wouldnt get worried and risk lossing the baby. Cause I kept going into labor. after bills were paid there was no money for food at this time we were a family of 4. So my husban did the only thing he though he could do. Well he got caught. Of crouse lost his job and everything snow balled from there. We lost everything! We were homeless for 7months. We now have gotten everything back on track our own place he has a great paying job better then before. We were wantting to pay his company back. We tried contacting them but no one ever called us back I made sure they had everything. Well like i said at the start sorry I'm very upset and scared. he was arrested today. He is being charged with a 5th degree felony theaft. He took $100. When I talked to the clerk he said he maybe released without having to pay. since its not that bad and he has no recored and its only one account. Tomorrow he gose infront of a judge I'm hoping to bring him home. can annyone tell me what may happen?? Sorry this is long I'm just very scared for my husban and my family. thank you
 
He weas stopped for speeding but got arrested for theft? Doesn't make sense please take a breath re-explain. Is the theft from the year before or a separate current event? Does he have a lawyer? Is this his first appearance in court on the theft charge? Was a bond hearing held or is that what court is about tomorow?
 
I'm sorry. He was pulled over for speeding and when the cop checked it came back that he had a warrent. tomorrow will be a bond hearing. yes this is from soemthing that happen a year ago. the cops told him that the warrent was issued two months ago. No we don't have a lawyer. Oh and they told him to plead Not guilty.
 
Yes, he should plead not guilty and request a court appointed lawyer. Hopefully he'll qualify and to see if he does qualify take your Income tax return for this year and recent pay stub. Usually bond is 10% of total so check what kind of ready cash you have or a credit card you can use so you can post the bond so he can go home IF a bond is granted. If a warrent was issued then he failed to appear for a previous court hearing or something like that and that is not good. He desperately needs to see a lawyer ASAP. If you are not working I highly recommend that you seek employment immediately so that if he doesn't work because of this you'll have money for food and neccessities and for a lawyer if he doesn't qualify. Please keep the forum updated on what is happening and check back frequently to see other replies
 
thank you! When he talked to them he told them that we never got anything in the mail nothing. they said that the company tried to call and they were calling our old number. We had called them like 5 months ago and gave them our new info we have always kept them informed. in the report or whatever it said they tried to call and couldnt reach him thats why they press charges. can you tell me what we may be looking at? Is there a chance that he wont come home?

Ya, well, I question if the original arrest(pulled over) was legal.

Call your local ACLU and ask.
