I am in the military and recently went through a nasty divorce. I gained all of our combined debt and it has really set me behind. I recently deployed to Iraq and upon my return I was informed that I had had bounced checks that i wasn't aware of. I have made a payment against the outstanding debt and they are still threatning me with warrants. Can they do that? I am owed back pay from the military and will be able to pay the debt on the 11th.

Have them contact you on the 11th. Until then, there is nothing you can do to resolve this situation. Tell them that you will have the money on the 11th to pay for your debts.
